A client encountered a situation when submitting documents for Romanian citizenship: there was a power outage and they were unable to obtain a criminal record certificate. The document reception commission suggested coming again to get the certificate and add it to the file. All documents had already been collected, only the criminal record certificate was missing.
The client was from Russia. Therefore, a return trip was out of the question. It must be admitted that the client himself suggested the solution: to send it by registered mail to the relevant consular department, indicating the case number on the envelope. We had also thought about this, but did not have the address. The client turned out to be conscientious and found out everything before we did.
