On June 5, 2026, the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, signed a decree promulgating Law No. 92 of May 28, 2026. The document amends a number of regulatory acts aimed at ensuring gender balance in the governing bodies of companies whose shares are traded on a regulated market. The law enters into force in accordance with the established procedure. The new rules are designed to strengthen the representation of women on the boards of directors of public companies.
