On June 12, 2026, President Maia Sandu signed Decree No. 644-X on the promulgation of Law No. 98 of June 4, 2026. The law ratifies Amendment No. 1 to the credit agreement between Moldova and the EBRD for the project “Road Rehabilitation in Moldova V”. The amendment changes the financing conditions of the infrastructure project. Ratification gives the amendment legal force at the national level and allows the project implementation to continue. For businesses, this opens up prospects for participation in tenders and contracts in the road sector.
