Practical Incidents

It was expected that, with the Ukrainian authorities’ aspirations, Ukrainian laws would be interpreted transparently. BUT Ukrainian border guards are increasingly infuriating and surprising us by demanding that declarations (powers of attorney) for the transport (accompaniment) of minor children from CIS countries must be apostilled! An apostille is not required for these powers of attorney! But we have to get it done for clients who have suffered from the border guards’ insolence.

The other day we received three requests for a criminal record certificate from Moldova. From the following clients: Kosenkova, Kolesnik, and Kolesnikova 🙂 What similar surnames 🙂

The most frequent clients of our agency are from Russia, Romania, Ukraine, the Transnistrian region, Israel, and Germany.

And we get messages like this ) and how do you explain it, since they don’t believe that we don’t do anything illegal )

We quote the letter:

“Good afternoon dear friends,
I need to legalize and apostille a fake diploma.
Write if you can help. Needed in Romania. The diploma (fake) was issued by a Russian medical college in 1999.
Waiting for your reply.”

Dear Friend Incognito! WE DO NOT ENGAGE IN ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES!

No comments. A letter from a “potential” client )

“I was born in 1982, in the territory of Chuvashia. My parents are Chuvash by nationality.
Can I obtain legal documents allowing me to acquire Romanian citizenship?
Do you provide such services?

Thank you.

Nikolai”
