The Government approved a new regulation on the organization and functioning of the National Bureau of Statistics, as well as the structure of its central apparatus. The maximum staffing level of the agency is set at 484 employees, of which 260 are in the central apparatus and 224 in territorial subdivisions. Additionally, the Bureau will be able to hire up to 240 interviewers under fixed-term employment contracts for annual and intra-annual surveys of households, consumer prices, and small agricultural producers. Financing will be provided from the state budget and external sources within the framework of the statistical work program. Changes were also made to the composition of the National Council for Statistics.
