On June 4, 2026, the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova adopted Law No. 96, ratifying the Grant Agreement with the French Development Agency (AFD). The agreement, signed on May 14, 2026, in Chișinău, provides for the implementation of the Integrated Rural Development and Irrigation Program (iDRIP). The law obliges the Government to take the necessary measures to implement the provisions of the agreement, and the Ministry of Finance is tasked with notifying AFD of the ratification. The document enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Monitor of the Republic of Moldova.
