On June 11, 2026, the Government of Moldova adopted Resolution No. 302, which approved the Methodology for assessing environmental damage. The document was developed in accordance with Law No. 107/2025 on environmental liability regarding the prevention and remediation of environmental damage. The methodology defines the procedure for calculating harm caused to nature and will be applied in the implementation of the law. Control over the execution of the resolution is entrusted to the Ministry of Environment. The document enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Monitor.
