The Civil Aviation Authority (AAC) approved a new edition of the Civil Aviation Procedures and Instructions “Licensing of Personnel for Aircraft Maintenance (Part 66)” (PIAC-AW-66, edition No. 02). The document, signed by AAC Director Evgenii Costetchi on June 4, 2026, replaces the previous rules in effect since 2022. The update is based on the Air Code of the Republic of Moldova and Government Decision No. 465/2025 on continuing airworthiness and authorization of organizations and personnel. The order enters into force on August 12, 2026, after publication in the Official Monitor, simultaneously repealing Order No. 43/GEN of August 29, 2022. The updated procedures will be available on the official AAC website in the “Regulatory Framework/PIAC” section.
