The Ministry of Culture issued Order No. 268, which establishes the public monument “Bust of Ion Druță”. The monument will be installed in the “Grigore Vieru” Park in the municipality of Soroca, on a land plot with cadastral number 7801111.451. The Soroca City Hall is obliged to organize a competition to select the author of the monument in accordance with the Framework Regulation approved by Government Decision No. 751/2020, and to send a copy of the competition commission’s minutes to the Ministry of Culture. The decision was made based on a request from local authorities and in compliance with the Law on Public Monuments No. 192/2011.
