On June 15, 2026, President Maia Sandu signed Decree No. 647-X, which enacts Law No. 96 of June 4, 2026. By this law, Moldova ratifies the grant agreement with the French Development Agency (AFD) for the implementation of the project “Integrated Agricultural Development and Irrigation Program (iDRIP)”. The project provides for the modernization of irrigation systems and support for the country’s agricultural sector. The funding is provided on a non-repayable basis, opening new opportunities for the development of agribusiness in Moldova.
