The Ministry of Finance of Moldova, by Order No. 76 of June 4, 2026, approved the Methodology for reviewing budget expenditures. The document was developed in accordance with Law No. 181/2014 on public finances and fiscal responsibility. The methodology establishes a uniform procedure for analyzing and evaluating the efficiency of expenditures for central public administration authorities. The authorities are required to bring their internal regulations into compliance with the new requirements and ensure the timely execution of all stages of the review.
