Het maximale personeelsbestand van de dienst is vastgesteld op 484 medewerkers, waarvan 260 in het centrale apparaat en 224 in de territoriale eenheden. Daarnaast mag het Bureau via tijdelijke arbeidsovereenkomsten tot 240 interviewers aanwerven voor jaarlijkse en tussentijdse enqu\u00eates naar huishoudens, consumentenprijzen en kleine landbouwproducenten. De financiering zal plaatsvinden uit de staatsbegroting en externe bronnen in het kader van het programma voor statistische werkzaamheden.
