In the case when a citizen of the Republic of Moldova changes his surname in a marriage concluded in a foreign country, after re-registration of the marriage in Moldova, he is obliged to replace the bulletin with a new one (with the surname of the spouse).
Sometimes it is necessary to re-register a marriage and divorce, in which a citizen of the Republic of Moldova returns her surname before marriage. If you re-register them at the same time, a citizen of the Republic of Moldova will not have to receive a new bulletin (at least a temporary one). That is, if you re-register only a marriage, a citizen of the Republic of Moldova, in order to re-register a divorce, will have to receive at least a temporary bulletin.
In some states (for example, Israel), the court decision on divorce does not indicate the fact that the spouse changed her surname to her premarital name. Therefore, it is necessary to re-register the marriage and divorce at the same time (to avoid the need to obtain a temporary bulletin). However, a citizen of the Republic of Moldova will have to personally submit an application to change her surname to her premarital name.
